.All fish were caught on jigs with weapon of choice was a 7 ft. rod with a Lane Palmer THUMP BUDDY on the end of it.(the lime green one) Honorable mentions were LFT,BG,& a Sandwich Maker. hey, can somebody breakdown the names of the above jigs.....seems I should have some in my tackle box....

You Betcha back pack!! I went yesterday afternoon and only stayed for about an hour and left with 10 in my bucket.Sorry no pics this time but plan on going in the morning & will take pics.Everyone was catching them on either side of the creek .Fish with minnows ,Jigs it`s all good right now @ the CREEK.I know if I had stayed another hour I could have limited out!!Heck I picked up a silver flaked plastic tube off the bank ,stuck it on a 1/16 oz jig head and Bam!!! a 1 lb.7oz female jumped on it in about a foot of water.Find some slack water and you will catch the Crappie.Sandies and Hybrids are starting to show up in the swifts after it passes under and away from the I45 bridge under the bridge it`s just moving too fast.Colorful grubs are producing the sandies & Hybrids.If you want to catch some fish RIGHT NOW, and are reading this post, Disperse you know what to do. GO GET YOU SOME you have NO EXCUSE

Drove by there on I-45 this morning--bet there was a hundred cars and trucks---people literally lined up shoulder to shoulder on the banks. Got to be good!

According to the FT Worth District Reservior Release Report Bardwell Reservior is dumping water into Chambers Creek @ 508 cfs,Navarro Mills Reservior is dumping water into the Richland Creek @ 1624 cfs and the Richland Chambers Reservior is dumping water into the creek under Hwy 287 east @ 4647cfs.These creeks are all hot right now as long as the water continues to flow.The creek that is at the foot of the Richland Chambers Reservior Dam(hwy 287 east)should be outstanding because of very little fishing pressure and the driving distance.Lots of big Blue Kitty Kats at this spot& they inhale minnows under a bobber real tuff.
