Low memory and strong knots. A must for UL fishing. Trilene XL is always gonna have a place in my fishing room. Everything else is complimentary.

I've got about 5 3000yd spools of the Trilene XL 6lb mono on clearance for $5 so thats what I've been using and don't have any real problems with it. I also got a spool of the neon tangerine colored Suffix Siege 6lb mono to try out and a spool of 4lb Mr. Crappie line I need to find that for my reels too .

We use Trilene XL 4 lb test. Does pretty well and not real expensive. It is relatively easy to find. I recently bought a 3000 yd spool at Cabelas for $18 (obviously on sale). Hope this helps

What's the most expensive brand you've bought?

Suffix is probably the most expensive that I've bought, and gone back to Trilene XL due to convenience. Nothing wrong with the suffix, but it wasn't drastically better, and the XL is pretty inexpensive.

6# P-Line Flouroclear mossy green.
Thats my favorite brand of line, use it for bass fishing too in higher test.
Don't worry about the mule, just load the cart

I'm sure we cover this topic not too long ago but with all the new anglers coming on the forum I figured it couldn't hurt.
Currently I'm using 4# Trilene XL but I have a few spools in my kit that I've been wanting to try. Thanks for covering this again. It's been a very long time since I went after these types of fish. I will admit it, I had already spooled my UL reels up with Trilene XL 4lb. Been using this stuff for along time!
