Limited edition framed and matted print from my original painting with your choice of photo, catch information and jig you caught it or them on all inset in the mat. I am still estimating cost and I will post it when I get it ready. Let me know what you think John Lee  [/img]

cool idea....i guess everything would depend on how much the actual cost would be though.

I am a retired artist and just looking for a little extra to go with the SS check.
I have a contact for reproducing these so they will look original. I also have a contact for custom framing. They are giving me prices this week. When I add it all up I can give you a price. I am hoping to be able to price it in the 175 to 200 range for a 16 X 20.

I know, I put this together in Photoshop, I have done hundreds of paintings, Just not fish but I have done everything else so it would not be a problem to do a great original that is better than this.

Just wanted to make sure that ppl knew that wasn't an original painting that you had framed. Would be interested in seeing your painting of crappie though.

I have done paintings of gunfighters, horses, cowboys, dogs, longhorns, cowboy boots, deer and so on.
I will do several paintings of crappie, some will be one biting a jig, some will be several and perhaps even a crappie's eye view of a fisherman pulling the rod up.
This way people can have a choice of limited edition prints to pick from.
I will post the paintings as I do them.

Looks like the price of the print to canvas from the original and the framing and matting will make me sell these for around $175.00. I am still looking for some other resources on the framing. The matting with the cut outs for the photos, info and lure are making the cost run up a bit but that is what makes this idea so cool.
Will post paintings as I get them done.
