Depends on your taste. Zatarain's proboil has nice all around flavor. Louisiana has a deeper robust flavor. Slap ya mama has a robust spicier flavor. If you liquid boil to either of them, it'll be more spicy and more flavorful. Don't forget to add lemons, onions, celery and garlic.

I use a combination of Zatarain's Pro-Boil, Old Bay, Slap Ya Mama and sea salt. I doubt this combination is any better than just using one type of seasoning but it makes the novices think I really know what I'm doing.

I have used Zatarains, Slap Ya Mama and Swamp Dust in the past, can't really tell much difference between them, I just use whatever is cheaper at the time. Try adding a jug of Sunny Delight to your boil, adds a citrus flavor, without taking away the spicy flavor. Putting ice on top after turning off the heat is crucial to a good boil IMO.
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.

Went to one yesterday and all I saw on the table was a variety of Zatarains. The pouches with seasoning as well as other containers with spices, etc. That was some of the best crawfish I have ever had too, mmmmmmmm.

Try Mike's Mojo. It's made in Lewisville and is super good. The only place I have found it in stores is at Kroger, but he has a website. You can also order the big graded crawfish from him.

I use 1 gallon of liquid boil (get it at sams) 1 jar of pro boil and half a box of salt.
Add 1 qt of orange juice and a half dozen lemons quartered with some onions in the pot. That's it for the flavoring.
As far as eating stuff that goes in, crawfish, garlic sausage, mushrooms, carrots, corn and tiny red taters.

The most important thing to do that I learned was Purge them first. A little salt water soak makes them [censored] their guts out so to speak. Then its not so important to de vein them when eating.
