Couldn't keep em off my hook this weekend. Coves and grass were not panning out, but wind blown points were awesome! Setup in 6-10' water on windward side of point, chunk plasic to point and wham...fish on. Left em biting. Dozens of fish. EDIT- just read the TTT tourney was there this weekend, saw alot of boats, too bad they weren't doing the right thing. Nobody but us was doing the point thing on the 6 miles of river we fished.

You didn't mention what species of fish you were catching?

Got back in town Sunday afternoon, took a quick nap then headed out to upper Lake Travis. Have to say it was the best 3 hours of fishing in three years. Plenty of LMB hitting just about everything. Best of day= 4.5lbs!

Guys considering hitting Travis in Friday before to many of the weekend warriors are out for some fun LMB fishing. Where on the upper lake do you go? Before Gloster or after?
Shut up and fish!
