hit brifdeport friday from about 7am till 1pm. This was my third trip out there in about a month. We ended up with arounbd 12 for the day caught them early on crankbaits then later switched to small watermelon red flake tubes and picked up a few more. The kicker of the day was the 18lb buffalo my buddy caught. Got home and later found out it beat the current lake record by nearly 7 lbs. By the way we fished the mid lake area aropund the damn and the small coves around it.

We were flipping boat docks and bottom bouncing around some chunk rock...I missed more than i boated, but the action was pretty good. However the bite has been pretty consistent with the cranks, so I just switch to the tube for a change of pace.
The times I have been out, the whites have been schooling all over. Friday was wierd becuase there were schools everywhere, but they were chasing shad. The were just swimming all over the lake. They wouldn't bit anything i threw at them...the only one i caught in a school was becuase i snagged him. It was the weirdest thing to see all of the schools and not get bit.

Went to Bridgeport on Monday from 0600-1200 caught 14 LM and 1 SM. The bite was very subtle. We were fishing the midlake area just south of the dam in the pockets. Most bites came on watermelon seed Zoom Lizard in 2-6 ft. Water temp was low 70s. Tried the whites early no takers, very strange as we put limits in the boat the last two times out. The only difference was that the wind was out of the North. My fried lost a good one on Monday about 1130, I'm still giving him grief. Good Luck!

pearl with a chartrues back worked best for me on the last trip, but generally any natural color seemed to work. I have done well with a crawdad color as well. My crankbait selection usually depends on the water clarity or light level. Last time the waterw as clear and plenty of sun so i want with the pearl. If the water is stained or it is cloudy I went with the crawdad pattern.
Hope this helps
