Does anyone admit that they actively fish for Sandbass on Fork? Visiting this weekend and could use some tips. Will be staying in the area of Lake Fork Marina. Thank you for your help.

I'll bet someone in the Bass section would love to help you out. Those guys seem to hate the invasion.

I have caught sandbass on Fork c-rigging fishing bass. Should not be hard to catch them use a crank bait around the 515 bridge left of the boat lane. You should be able to find some pretty easy.

There is a hump right in front of LFM...there is a white post near it marking a stump...that hump has 38ft around it and comes up to 28ft on top...
There is thousands and thousands of sandbass on that hump...you can catch them every cast with a little George or tail-kicker....
Graph the area...find them....And have fun!
PS keep all you can! We don't want them!

YES! & they are healthy on Fork. Was rather impressed by there large numbers and size last year. They will hit the fork flutter spoons. Hook up ratio is much better with a slab though. Ain't no stopping em now! They do so frustrate them Large Mouth Bass hunters!
