Great Pic!

The crappie are in the creek thick as well right now and have been for a month if you can find them. Not much size as I am seeing about 1 out of ten is a keeper, but that has been the case on Grapevine since the fall for some reason.

No. I fished Wednesday in a camo Grizzly.

Well it was the close to the same for me tuesday but mine was more like 1 out of 15 were keeper.

I posted this as my personal best but I wanted to share on the creek run ...
it weighed 37.40 lbs at 41 " caught on the 29th

I actually caught him Thursday the 29th.. tried the same thing yesterday and only caught about a 5 lb. drum

Fished denton creek near 35w on Saturday afternoon, we only got a couple on roadrunners/white grubs, but we did see this. About 10 fish overall, crappie/sand bass/catfish, and almost all looked below the limit. Not sure if someone dumped an illegal catch or what, it was right by the bridge where everyone parks.

Haven't seen much of the wardens out there this year, but I wish they'd start making the rounds, to keep that kind of [censored] from happening. I will say that after seeing Chads cat I'll be throwing a few cut bait lines out when I head back for some crappie now...

This is total disrespect for the fish and the outdoors should skin and throw them in the creek!
