Went camping this weekend with the cub scout pack. Got to fish for a little bit a couple times, all from the bank. Caught a couple of small largemouths, and a smallmouth, over close to where the Eisenhower Yacht Club. The water was very clear, and the lake is pretty high, and it was fun "sight-fishing".
Late at night I hit the lighted fishing dock. There were tons of shad swimming around, and some striper chasing them occasionally. I caught 4 striper, mostly around 12- 14 inch fish, but pretty fun.

Sounds fun! Were the smallies as nice as last year? I remember you getting a couple of nice ones.
Linecaster, I'm going to try to make it out there Friday on my kayak. It's usually a lot of fun.
