bobber is an important part of my rig, how about your fishing rig? do you use the bobber? if not, what's the indicator of a hooked fish? Thank you

no bobber here, i dont really enjoy just throwing a line out there and watching it, waiting to real in. I would rather pitch and cast and retrieve.
As far as an indicator, its in the feel, if you always have the rod in your hand you should feel something.

Slip cork for shallow crappie is just about the only time I use one, and that's more about keeping my bait at a particular depth when its further from the boat than anything.

Float-n- fly is a deadly tactic when bass are very skittish and the bite is real tough. You should always have 1 in your boat!!

Jig and slip cork used to be a staple in any bass fishermans arsenal but I haven't seen it used in decades.

only live bait and that's a balloon. ;):D
I'm a Crappie fisherman and will use a bobber with minnows, I know many use one for jigging too, but I haven't.

yep, and bed fishing.... Bobber, drop shot combo on the bed with a heavey weight to make it stay in place with a suspended.. minnow type bait.. Don' tell anyone..

Take a bobber tie with about a three to five foot leader...... To a brick. Troll around throw it in a bed come back in an hour catch big momma  Other then that keep the bobber.
