had a good day fishing at San Luis pass . caught these two keepers. a 16"sheepshead and the other is a 22" gaftop. my pops caught several small sand trout and half of a 2-3 ft bonnet head shark. the other half something bigger got when he was reeling it in.( makes you wonder whats bumping you when your in the water . ) we fished with live shrimp and fresh dead shrimp. some mullets caught in my net in the surf also. the tide came in about 1 and a half ft starting at about 10am and seem to level off at 1230. incoming tide was most productive. bait fish every where and birds working hard near shore.

there was some wood debris but not to bad plenty off spots to fish.
there were several whole trees on shore. hey if you collect them can i get a finders fee
