I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU WHO PLACED BIDS FOR THIS AUCTION TO BENEFIT THE CASTFORKIDS FOUNDATION. The top 6 bids were placed by (in alphabetical order) Brad Dunn, Steve Hummert, Keldon Johnson, Ernie Miles, Skip Winans, and Charles Wilson. I will contact you in a few days to let you know which guide you have been randomly drawn to fish with. Many thanks to all of you!
June 2nd we are holding our 10th annual Castforkids.org event on Calaveras lake. We host 40 special needs children for a day of fishing, boating, and some great food and awards for everyone. To help raise funds to purchase all the children rods, reels, tackle boxes, and clothing, some Falcon Lake guides are donating a full day guide trip.
I wish to thank all of you who made a bid this past year. I heard from several of you after your trips and it seems all had a great time.
I will take all of the highest bids sent to my e-mail jimbehnken@hotmail.com and do a random drawing of which guide you won a trip with. The auction will end April 4th. It will be the bidders responsibility to set up the date with whichever guide they win a trip with. You provide your own tackle for the trip.
The castforkids foundation can provide 501c3 certificates to all who win a trip. All checks sent in by the bid winners will be made to the Castforkids foundation. link to a show from the past years.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tH3gDb9O1HU
If any guides out there wish to donate a trip on their lake, we welcome you.
