Ole Tom was kind enough to take myself and my 11 year old stepdaughter Sydney out for a night of catfishing. She's never caught a catfish before, so it was a very exciting night for her. Sydney's first fish a short-nose gar, which was pretty fun to watch! Then she hooked into her first blue cat...haven't weighed it yet, but it was probably 4-5 pounds. All together she caught 11 catfish. As for me, I caught 4 or 5 cats, and also landed my very first drum. Great times and awesome memories for everybody! Thanks Tom!  Some of the keepers we kept for dinner      Always gotta kiss your first fish!

I think he had more fun with Sydney than he did with me!!
I did notice that for the next trip he invited her and not me! Haha! Probably cuz she catches fish better than I do!

Tom is a great fisherman and a great person. Has taught several people on here the tips of catfishing!!!!

It was a great time fishin with Miss Sydney and Jeff. She is cuter than a button and turned into a catfish catchin pro right before our eyes!!! She ain't scared of handling fish and liked playing with the shad. I love the expression on her face in the pic with the gar!!! Maybe the next time we get out she can teach Jeff to catch a real fish!!!!!
