I'm 51 and have caught 3 DD's.
Feb 29th, 2012 = 11lb 13oz
Mar 2nd, 2012 = 10lb 5oz
Feb 26, 2011 = 10lb 11oz
All at Falcon!

I more than likely turned loose a state record up here, went 14.8 on my berkely scales and they weigh light against our tourney scales. last april in a private lake, no way to get gw there before she died, she is still there and if I get lucky enough to land her again this time it will be recorded. have 3 other over 10's, one from boerne city lake, other 2 came from arbuckle and broken bow. surprised you didn't post that in Bass section last April.

Im 30 years old and my biggest is 9.04...Caught on Lake Aquilla, I fish Aquilla and Whitney almost always so my chances are kinda small, although I have caught numerous fish in the 7-8lb class in my life.
I just have to find a way to get to lakes such as Falcon and Fork to give myself a better chance.

I don't yet, I have a 9-8 from fork and a 9-12 from falcon and lots of 7-8 pound fish. Those DD's are hard to come by.

I've had 5 bass over 9, (4 in a 6 week period)...but still now DD.
I have had a couple buddies snag 12s in front of me outta my boat..
Talk about being elated then realizing it could have been you!!
12s no less!!!
Maybe I should guide!

I caught three at fork in the late 80's and early 90's... including a 12.12. Four others were caught from my backseat which I am even more proud of. It's been awhile (5 years).... which is when I moved to Ray Roberts area. Ha
And I know who "Jeff" is.

Had to go to Florida to get mine. Fished with a guide on St Johns river system, and after catching 4s and 5s all morning he looked at me and said "let's go get your DD" . We ran the river for about 5 miles and got her on the first cast. Heck of a fight.

I have two over 9 (9.8 and 9.9) but no DDs; my wife just caught an 8.2 .... best in a tourney was a 7.62.

I had a Double D once.... then my wife found out and I had to cut the DD loose.....
