Went this evening and caught 1 keeper,lost another at the boat and caught a couple of under sized fish. Did not catch any females yet but a buddy of mine caught a couple of females this morning so maybe things will get better or Im fishing in the wrong places.By the way where are the catfish I caught a few last week on crappie jigs but havent really tried to catfish yet.

I fished arlington yesterday and fished all over that lake. I only landed 5 huge male crappie. My buddie and I limited out on catfish. The catfish were along the rocks at the damn. We fished about 5 feet deep using slip bobbers throwing directly toward the rocks.

No crappie but caught one 3 pound cat and we caught about fifty sandbass.

Went yesterday morning and went through 4 dozen minnows. Didn't keep track of total caught. Didn't keep any under 11" and ended up with 11 keepers, with the biggest 7 weighing 9.0 lbs. Most of the fish caught were around 9" or so and more aggressive. Keepers were mostly fat females(fish), with a few large males. All caught on minnows in 9' or less of water. Water temp was right at 70*.

Well as usual I must have been in the wrong place. Caught one nice male and one nice bass. I was in the creek north of I20 near the tree store.

Guess I was trying too shallow.

I did catch a few shallow, but not many. Most of the time I will catch 3-4 keepers and some throw backs. The earth must have been at just the right tilt yesterday.

Lucky you. Every time I try to Target one kind of fish I catch a different kind
