 New PB and I put it on a stringer..

It was a bulls head.
2 pounds and 9 ounces I think.
Also caught a pair or 17's and a 12 common.
And a 4 pound channel.
Good day. Thanks Austin for putting me right on top of them.
I did break a BFS rod, so now I need to buy a replacement. So sad.
So I have question Sonik or Saxon?

Hope it was a yellow bullhead. I don't think any other breeds are worth eating.

either rod will be good. depends on your budget.

Not a bullhead fan. Yea. I kept a nice sized yellow bullhead last week. His filets are in the freezer.

ive had soniks, good rod never fished a saxon but on par with others rods in that price range. You might also consider a grey's prodigy rod. I've caught carp up to 34 and it cast like a dream

+1 on the Prodigy. After all, the Sonik is just a knockoff of the Prodigy.  (inside joke but more or less true)

Congratulations on your catch. Which BFS Rod did you break?
I just sold two out of three of my BFS Rods today. Hope I didn't !@#$ the guy over.

ive got the soniks n love them. but there is a guy selling some greys on FB for a decent price!

I could not decide, so I'm going to hold off for now.
I did order a new reel and a Grey's 9' Stalker rod that I can use as a temporary replacement. I almost always fish one rod in the margins anyway.
I tend to over think fishing. Please help me.

He may not get eaten then. I wouldn't eat that thing. Take it with you next trip and see if the blues will eat it, I don't even think they would eat it.
