Going to go to lake corpus with my kayak and do some fishing. Would like to catch some black bass, but will also be looking for white bass and catfish. I'm not familiar with this lake for fishing, I would like some tips on where I should put my kayake In at. (have a small aluminum trailer I can walk around easily) any tips on spots to fish, baits that are working. As far as catfish I'm not worried about that I'm pretty good at finding them. (I went fishing there Monday and put in at the state park, caught 4 white bass and 3 blue cats) was hoping someone could tell me some good tips on black bass and maybe let me know if the crappie are biting anywhere.
Thanks for any tips and help in advance!

I've never been on the lake, but there should be some bass spawning in the shallows. Put in close to a creek arm or cove. I would use some sort of plastic worm or craw, texas rigged.

Welcome to the forum George.( I don't know the lake either.) Like Monty said, concentrate on shallows, creeks etc. look for structure such as weeds and willows. rocks along roadways and bridges. Cast as close to the shore as you can without hanging up and be ready for some explosive bites before you even get the slack out of your line. ...and yes the crappie are everywhere. same spots pretty much. 1-3 feet of water, minnows under a bobber should kill the crappie and LMB also.
