I know this may be a stupid question but here it goes...
What's so great about Tungsten?? Why not use lead or brass? Biggest difference for me is the sensitivity the weights have. No kidding you can feel the difference of the bottom (rocks, mud, branches) and better feel for a strike.

huge difference between Tung and lead/Brass! Up shallow with a trig its unreal. you can feel every little break, every twig piece of grass but the real difference is when ur dragging a rig out deep with a 1/2 or 3/4oz! It changes the way you fish out deep for sure!
And u cant ask for a better deal than Carlos sending u a free sample pack just to try out! Carlos is a top notch dude and u cant beat that!!

Any of y'all that are going to be at Lake Fork this weekend or live around the Crandall/Mesquite/Forney area hit me up and I will be happy to show you what River A Tackles Tungsten looks like compared to other brands.

I get my weights from River A Tackle (A Texas based company). Great durability on paint, smooth finish, no inserts and prices are very reasonable.
Can you save a few pennies going here and there...Probably. But building a "price" involves 3 things...people, company (reputation mostly) and product. Carlos delivers all 3 very well.
