I heard that Lake Whitney is experiencing a fish kill. Any truth to this? I WAS going to drive out and try to catch some striper on top water, but if there is indeed a fish kill going on, I may stay local. Thanks!!!!

Lots of shad floating the upper end down as far as the Katie bridge two weeks ago, Didn'y see any dead stipers.

From what I saw at Granbury it was mostly just shad that we dying. My understanding of the Gold Algae though is that the bloom stops after the water hits 55 so everything should be ok now.
