OP ccabal Extreme Angler C Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 2,718 Garland, TX USA	The crappie fishing is starting to pick up a bit at Lavon. Went this morning and caught 5 crappie, 3 of real nice size. My friend that came along was using conventional gear,and he caught 4. I was using a small white wooly bugger under a strike indicator. They are shallow, but not necessarily holding close to any structure. (well there's a lot of flooded brush ahd grass everywhere, so they are probably holding around that vegetation. Lavon looks GREAT. Its 1.3 feet over, and the water is clearing up. Should get better the next few weeks. But at 400cfs, probably wont make much difference.
