Looks like with the dumping of water out of Lavon into Hubbard which is over full and will dump into an already full trinity river system, why could'nt they just reverse the pumps and fill up tawakoni and on to lake fork which needs 2 more feet. They may be wishing they had of about 3 years from now instead of sending it to the Gulf. Who knows what the future holds, we may get into another drought.

Fork is up 5 and a half feet in the last month. Any more decent rain and every lake in east Texas will be releasing water, too.

My guess is it is mostly a gravity feed system anyway. I doubt they have the pump capacity to pump uphill to tawakoni and fork.

Better for them to clear space in Lavon and Hubbard now, in a controlled manner, than have spillways running after another heavy rain.

They needed to have dredged out the north ends of these lakes when they were down last fall to increase the holding capacity of them.

Yeah, I doubt they have the capability to pump uphill from Tawakoni to Fork.
