I will be traveling to South Fort Worth Easter weekend and would like to know if there are any dependable crappie piers/houses within an hour of Crowley? No boat, just looking for a place to wet a line that might yield some fish that weekend. Thanks.

Sonny

No crappies houses that are worth a darn that I can think of. You should just pick the closest lake to you and look for feeder creeks and bank it on the north end of the lake. The fish are doing their thing right now in a lot of lakes/creeks around the metroplex.
