Ordering a new boat and was looking for your opinions on which is more useful. I only have funds for one of them. Which is better? Hyd Jackplate and one powerpole or two powerpoles? Thanks in advance for opinions.

Don't have a powerpole, but have been using a hydraulic jackplate for many years. I use it all the time.

Second pole
A fixed plate is great on most modern rigs
Would love to have the second pole

depends on where you fish and what type structure you fish....I won't have another boat without a hydraulic jackplate.....have one on both my bass boat and flats boat
if you sight fish a lot for bass & generally beat the banks then get the 2nd power pole....if you're more a deep water structure guy then the power pole won't help you much

Neiher spend your money on electronis they will help you catch fish. Unless you fish skinny water neither one helps.

I don't like attaching the Power Poles to my boat. I like it attached to the Jackplate. I just get the manual jackplates and then attach two PP's.

I have both on my 211. The twin PP's will get a LOT more use than the hydraulic plate. The only advantages to a hydraulic plate is that you can make adjustments on the fly to the motor height allowing you to gain a COUPLE more mph on top end. It doesn't help your holeshot nearly as much as you would think.
I have experimented extensively with hydraulic plates on Allisons, Bullets, Gamblers, Tritons, BassCats, and Legends. The only hulls that truly benefit from being able to raise the motor high while on the fly are the Bullets and Allys. The rest of them you are wasting your money on a hydraulic plate. Been there and done that!!

For sure, one reason to have a hydraulic plate is to wrench the last MPH out of your boat. But there are other reasons to have one as well. I fish bigh water alot, and when it gets REAL rough, I can drop the plate as low as it will go and get a much better ride--mainly I am able to keep my prop in the water as opposed to revving everytime I hit a big wave. Definitely two poles, hydraulic plates are over rated, I have one on my new boat and I really cannot see that great of a difference.
