Hey guys I have followed this form for sometime now but this is my first post. Me and my buddy are going to fish Fork over the Easter holiday. I am an Ag teacher and he is a Police Officer so we do not get a lot of opportunities to get out and fish. We usually try to fish Fork 3-4 time a summer. Some trips are really good and some trips aren't so good. We can only get away for a few days at a time so just as we begin to get the fish figured out it is time to head home. We are thinking about trying to find a guide to take us out on our first day then fishing alone the next two days. Is that something that the guides get upset about? Does anyone know a good guide or even a local that is not booked April 6th or 7th? If not can anyone give me some direction to where we should start on the lake. To be honest we are not focused on catching a giant we would rather catch numbers or good fish. Thanks for any help you can give.

Most guides won't mind a bit, I use Cody Malone when I go to Fork. The hard part will be finding a guide with open days this time of year and this close to your trip.

See if Ronnie Kelley has anything open, he is a great guide.

welcome to the TFF!
Guide thread and +1 for Ronnie Kelly!
And the fish should be just about ready to eat again by Friday after this Sunday's Mega Bass pressure!
