i just bought another rod today and i feel like i have a pretty good arsenal
but i keep getting [censored] from everybody about how many rod setups i have and i feel like i dont even come close to the average TFFer..
what do you think?

Not bad, hopefully they'll do well this weekend for you. If you don't mind me asking, why is one of your baitcasters left handed?

Thats how many I have. Slowly get to add to it usually 2 combos a year, hopefully I can maintain them long enough to have a nice collection haha.

Last count I think I have 18 in the boat with another few that come and A's needed

really didnt think to much about it when i bought it kinda makes it awkward swithcing back and forth

I normally fish with 10 and still leave 7 at the house.

I have 11 falcon caras and 2 g-loomis rods that I keep in my boat and use regularly, and a few at home with replaced tips or older bass pro shops rods I used to use for when I take my girlfriend or people who don't fish a lot out. Can never have too many rods and reels.

It's all good. To be quite honest with you, I would love to learn how to fish efficiently with both hands like that. It can help out in tight situations. Every time I pick up a left handed baitcaster, something goes quite wrong though haha.

I'm with you man! I keep about 6 rods in the boat this time of year because I never really know what I'm throwing til I get there.

Summer and winter I really only need 2 or 3 rods, and that's often all I carry. Fall I might go back to 4 or 5. You can only use one at a time. And I don't know enough techniques to keep 20 rods in the boat. Fish when you can with what you've got. There are too many Jones's on here with dozens of rods to keep up with. I only say that because I wish I was one of them. But my fishing budget just doesn't allow that. I'd rather have 4 nice rods and a couple others than a dozen cheap ones.

Rather have 6 good quality rods than anything. Usually I only have 5-6 with me but now that I have a boat for myself its gonna be around 10 or so just incase.

I'm just OCD about never wanting to be in a situation where I don't have the right rod and reel with the right line for something I figure out the fish are biting.
