Fished Ray Roberts today from 11:00-4:00 and boated a couple of slot fish. I guess I new going out that the wind was blowing 18-25 mph, the water temperature was dropping and a front on was on it’s way in . Living this close to this great lake, I try to fish it regardless of the conditions. Both fish were caught around 2:30 in 17”of water fishing a jig. I fished a jig all day but around 2:00 decided to down size to a 3/8oz jig and that seemed to make a difference. Water temp was 47.6 degrees on the main lake and 48.7 in the creek I was fishing in.
