Headed down to Amistad for three days this week. Haven't been there for a year. Any report would be a help. Thanks!

Gear up for High Seas! Since the lake is near full level I haven't been able to find anywhere to escape ROUGH water when the wind is blowing.
Only information I have is local information and I haven't personally confirmed it: "Catching Black Bass up rough canyon Where Devil's River enters" but no information on what presentation is being used.
Good Luck and batton down the hatches.

Well, I guess we West Texas boys won't be getting any info on Amistad... That's a shame, I was hoping to have a starting place as to water temps and maybe a couple of patterns to try.

Hey desert fisherman, I just fished Amistad this last weekend. Find brush in 4 to 12 feet on a flat next to deep water. Fish watermelon red tiki stick or senko, throw a spinnerbait early and a floating shallow diving jerkbait. Also texas rigged worms in dark colors when it is clear, and lighter colors when overcast. Dark color means any green. Good luck
