Richland/Chambers has got to be the hottest hybred striper lake in Texas. Its only 75 miles south of Dallas. I went out with Cory Vinson early on Friday and by 9:30 we had hooked over 40 of the meanest fightn' machines to ever be brought into a boat. Between 3 of us, we baited 6 rods with shad Cory had netted that morning. After a few small runs, we located some monster fish stacked up like sardines. We couldn't keep 6 rods in the water. Every 30 seconds a fish would start the reels singing. We were runing up and down the 22 ft. Fish Hog grabbing rods and watching them bend over double. Well, we finally used up the 100 or so shad we had with us. Since we were used up ourselves (and only a serious redneck would have stayed there and fished with bare hooks)we came in to clean the 14 fish we kept. We did a catch-and-release on most of the big fish we caught to grow up to be bigger and wiser.
Anyway, Cory guarantees you'll catch fish or don't pay. Call 'em at 972 3127 8303
