Installed Talon and bracket my self in an hour. Pretty easy.

i put a talon on my boat last year with th eoriginal bracket. put the other one on last week and used the new bracket. with the new bracket i have to have the talon higher (or it drags water) and of course now i will have to add the tilt bracket as well. is that a brace between your deck and the talon?

It doesnt... it is so you dont have to move it up and down to get into the garage or low spots... doesnt lock down like this but it is a good idea...

It is only down for getting under low places, but it has button that locks it in place in upright position, the tilt bracket mounts between the talon bracket and adapter bracket.
