I've had a Dobyns 735c for some time now...curious what techniques you guys use this rod for? I really like the feel of it and would love to have it in my hand more often. To this point I've been pitching/flipping from my kayak with it, but thought it might be good for frogs too. What do y'all use it for?
Really like the feel of the Dobyns and I'm hoping to get a 7' MH soon (hopefully).

I use it with a 1/2 oz football head jig and larger shakey heads. I have some that are 1/2 oz with a 7/0 hook. Love that 735

I use the 735C for piching, that's about it. I'm sure it could be used for other techniques too but I like to keep my rods rigged with 1 bait, maybe that's why I have 20 rods in my boat, lol. I hate retying lures.

Excellent rod for small swimbaits! Good for a carolina rig as well.

Works awesome to Trig or Flip/Pitch, Best frog rod i've ever used, put braid on it and it will throw a buzz bait a mile, Its a great all around rod

Sethmac... Try the 704C or the 734C for your next rod!!!
