 How did you come up with your display name ?

or why did you choose it? What does it mean?
A long time ago I read Gierach's book "Trout Bum". Gierach is so laid back and his stories are pure and simple, most of them come from nowhere and go to nowhere and they are about the sort of things we all do.
I knew long ago I was a Bream Bum even before I picked up a Fly Rod or read his book the year I graduated High School, yep I was FF before the movie. When I was just starting out fishing in N.C. I knew all sunfish were "Bream" kinda like Texans know all sunfish are "Perch". I played "hookie" many a day to go fishing.
A bum is an enthusiast of a specific sport or recreational activity, especially one who gives it priority over work. Even at age 43 I'm still "playing hookie" from work in order to go fishing.
I'm Bream Bum.

My friends dubbed me caribou on high school. I was the big one in the group, and "moose" isn't nearly as cool as "caribou".

It's just something friends started referring me as ! So got used to it . I was into Online Radio Streaming and stuffs and i used to ask folks to join us and tune in ...lol oneday buddy called me tuner and that was all behind it.

name is Micah Eric Middleton...nickname is either Middletoes or Eric Toes...depending on which friend you ask...long story on why that is. Love bass fishing, so figured basstoes was appropriate.
 fatty has more posts than you. I have more beer in my garage right now than you!

My handle is my nick name going back to little league. The big guys said I was to small to be called "big cat" or "Cat Daddy" like my bigger cousins. My Papa's name was Leon. I was dubbed "Jagg" because I was small, quick and quiet.

Thirty five years ago, out looking for land where we could build our dreams we ran across a place with fields of Meadowlarks and hills and trees and creeks and just about everything we were looking for...bought it and called it Meadowlark Ranch and have been enjoying it tremendously for all those years since.
