You can fish Caddo or Toledo with TX license and in May not only does cross fish extremely tough but the ski boats and jet ski people are out in full force.I would fish Caddo before I ever thought about either lake you posted.Plus the time it took to get to Bist. you could be on Caddo and May is usually awesome.PM me or mudd and Im sure we can get you on something.

Not sure if I'm correct ...but you can't fish the LA side of Caddo with only a TX license....??? You need a LA license if you cross into LA on Caddo ....???

A few years ago I built a home on the North shore of Cross Lake. Even though I lived on the water and had a boat dock with a lift, I kept my boat on the trailer and dragged it to Caddo every weekend. I love that lake! Caddo is is amazing. Some days the fishing was spectacular and some days, a washout. But it was always beautiful and unique. And there is always a chance to land a giant!

Thank for the infro. Wanted to fish with my old school buds (F. P. class 65) . When I lived in S'port you could not swim in Cross Lake.
