I've been to the Boo-Rays on Boat Club and it was good. Happy hour draft beer was only a buck-fifty - The grilled redfish, grilled Mahi, and sides were all very tasty.

Crawfish was good and spicy..I got one of the Tilapia meals and it was a fillet the size of the plate...Had them sub dirty rice for the steamed rice it came with..very good dirty rice..The batter on the fish was very good..Not a typical breading...I live in Carrollton and always looking for some good cajun food..I hear the place in Boyd is just as good...

OK, I have visited both restaurants now and There is a BIG difference between the Boo-Ray's on Boat Club Rd. & the one in Weatherford. The Weatherford place allows smoking inside and has a very strong cigarette smoke odor - the women in our group decided we would eat on the patio due to smoke/smell - the bar also seems to attract some pretty shady looking characters. Our food was just OK. Doubt I will eat there again. The Eagle Mountain place has a much brighter/cleaner appearance and the bar area seems to attract a better clientele. (didn't see anyone that looked like they had a meth lab cooking somewhere ) The food here was excellent - large portions and not one complaint from our group on any dish, incuding sides. I highly recommend this place

About 20 of us ate lunch today at the Boat Club location and all I know is everything was VERY good and not a single complaint from anyone in our group.
