I'm thinking of heading to lewisville if you want to make te extra drive. Where at on grapevine are you thinking? I may give that one last try before calling it quits on that lake.

Maybe.some.of the.freshly flooded.shallows in oak grove.park? I don't know other areas with nite access.......sure there is...

nope......nuttin.......no wind, water was still with alot of small debris/film on top.......carp were flopping everywhere........but they weren't biting either.......had two rods out all nite for carp( boilies and corn) and 6 for cats......couldn't find shad so had cut carp,cut Black Salty and chicken soaked in Dead Red out on 4 bigger poles and had livers and Sure Shot out on 2 smaller poles.......NUTTIN......
