Bah! Gotta get some lawn work done today. Might get to go to a local pond this evening if I get done early enough. Need to get some bream in the bait tank for some cat bait. Wish me luck fellas!!

Only got 1, 3 inch sunnie that was very cool looking. It was all kinds of blue and purple. Sorry didnt get a pic, the kids in the area were being very annoying. I guess there were like 3 birthday parties being held at that particular park (Hurst Chisolm Park).

We packed up from there and went over to Glenview park right down the street from my house and didnt have any luck on the bream there either but there were some good size bass there. We could see them swimming in the shallow water. A good 2-4 lbs a piece anyway.

We only tried the front pond there, so we're going to try the back one in the morning sometime. I'll post back here and report on the success of that trip when we get back.

Yeah but it needs to be done. This time of year unfortunately it needs to be done about once a week too. =P Thats okay though I don't mind it. My yards not that big so I can get the mowing and weedeating done in a couple hours.

Can't wait to get back out and try that other pond tomorrow. I found some chicken livers for 79cents per tub at Albertson's so I bought 4 tubs to stick in the freezer. =P The better half and I are going out tomorrow morning and making a picnic out of it. I've heard tale of a 12lb channel in there so Im gonna see if I can't get him to come out and play. =) All in all it'll just be good to spend some time near the water and get some practice in. Fish or no fish it'll be nice to spend some time relaxing next to a small quiet pond.
