Went fri afternoon and sat morning with my dad. could have kept 2 limits each day pretty easy. Only kept the ones hooked real bad. Ended up with about 25 on the stringer each day. Friday from 4-7. sat from 9-1. Up river in the pools. Hit lures pretty good on friday. Got a little crowded on sat only picked up a few on lures so went to live.
How do you post pics?

Thanks for the report guys. I know the Rebecca Creek launch (Ramp #11) is technically closed, but can you put in a canoe or kayak there? I recall there being an issue with parking, but I need someone to refresh my memory, especially with the ever-changing river conditions. Thanks again.

Last I saw, you could not launch a boat. It was chained and no water. You might be able to launch a kayak. Pretty muddy from what I saw. I havent actually walked it though.

I was there about 3-weeks ago and there is more then enough water for a canoe or kayak. Also plenty of parking. There was a cable and barricade across entrance, but the cable was pushed down to the ground and the saw horse barricade moved to the side. I do not have a canoe or kayak, but would not think twice about putting in. The asphalt ramp ends right at the waters edge. With the rain we just got, the water should be even higher. Have fun, I will be there tomorrow in a 22' center console.

Went today, got on the lake about 1:00pm. On the way to the lake, I cross the Guadalupe River on hwy-281 and the water looked like chocolate milk, moving 100mph. When the Rebecca ramp is closed, I use either Crane's Mill or Jacob's Creek and go all the way past Rebecca Creek to the rapids. I do not like doing this, but have done it maybe 10-times, but today only got to the mouth of river. The water was to dark and if I can not see the stumps, I am not going to risk it. Soooo,I do not know if it would be any good for those of you who can put a small craft in at Rebecca. I am going to wait for another week.

What did they say in1776? One if by land two if by sea? Well water didn't cut it so Monday I am taking the overland path to the rapids. Thaqnks to limpline for the info cuz it really helped in finding the route. You can apparently drive right up to the rapids, or at least within a few yards of them. 6 rods, a bucket of minnows, and my waders are going. Will defi nitely let yall know what happens.

Just the park at Cranes Mill, or is the ramp open also?
