I want to bass fish Lake Conroe but we had a high pressure come in and it might of made those fish lethargic which it make it tough for me but I guess I will just go to get away from everything and if even I don't catch anything I will still have fun.

Make sure you have a chatterbait, any soft plastic in water/red, and when ya catch one, slow down cause there are more very close!!

I went yesterday, (wind was insane!!) but,, anyways i didnt get on water till 11 am, I caught 10, with 2 over 6  So definately go,, and what ever you do dont pitch a weightless fluke into newly flooded vegetation.

Gonna head up to Conroe this weekend. Hows the water clarity/temp with all the new rain we've got? I sure hope it stays like this outside all weekend!

Gonna head up to Conroe this weekend. Hows the water clarity/temp with all the new rain we've got? I sure hope it stays like this outside all weekend! Main Lake is showing 68.08 F- I'm sure it's warmer in the creeks, sloughs.....The North end is kinda off-colored, tea stained but, that means you should be able to wack em' shallow. Lots of Shad Spawning too. Good luck!

Good day last Saturday with fish in really shallow water. Plenty of grass with low water. Good luck!
