 cedar creek water color

Do the creeks on the south end get muddy like the north end of the lake. Like caney and clear creek.

Usually not as bad. This time we got a lot of rain right over the lake & East, not just north of us, I'm betting that it's muddy down there too but I have been wrong a time or two.

I haven't been out yet but, standing on my dock the water looks pretty clear. I'm on the west side of the lake, south of the spillway...close to the old Marimac Marina, if you know the area.
Wind is totally calm this morning and temp at 7:30 is 47.5 with slightly rising barometer.
This has been your Cedar Creek Lake morning weather report sponsered by some old guy that can't catch a cold, much less any crappie!

We are on the south end, water clear here visability about 12". Lots of action around in the flooded grass, carp and gar looks like. No crappie this am, cold and no wind......warming up nicely !! Lake down about 2" from yesterday......just glad to have water !!

Awesome, two reports of fairly clear water, I'm getting pumped about the weekend now! Who all is gonna be out? Me, My wife & Captain Bly will probably be out for a little bit both days. If you see us in the green & white Champion, say hello. We are busting out the wakeboard boat this weekend for some cruising. Might fish in the am's while the girls sleep.
