Little story before the picture. Last week (on my first spawn fishing trip) my powerpole stopped working for the first time ever. Go figure! At first I thought it was the front button because I've had a loose wire before. Nope...come to find out I some how pinched one of the hydraulic lines. Easy fix and cheap. Replaced the line for $3.41 today. Go home install line and good to go! Decide to fix the front button, long story short, couldn't so cut that sucker off for now and decided I will just get another one.

Go around just to inspect the boat and such since I just cleaned it up. This is the mounting bracket for the ppole..

I'm not sure how this happened. I'm guessing I hit a stump on a windy day of trolling but not really sure.

I came back in the house and told my fiance....

"honey I'm buying two new powerpoles, bout had it with this one"

She took it pretty well banana

Get everything you need done prior to the change from fiance to spouse. Don't ask me how I know.

That bracket is cast material and could be fixed but not hardly worth the trouble.

It looks as if this pole was installed incorrectly with bolts that where not sent by Powerpole and is missing washers.

No offense ment to OP.

Mine where hit with a 1000# peice of roof and that didn't break the mounts...

A loose wire, a broken hydraulic line, a broken button and a broken mount .............................. and you want another one ?????

You must be a glutton for punishment. I would be running away from that maintainence nightmare. Life is too short to be fixing a power pole 4 different times.

All caused by poor installation

Loose wire - needed the connection crimped tighter or crimped on the spade to ensure a secure fit

Broken mount - wrong hardware w/ no washer/rubber washer

Broken or crimped line - caused from above

Button - not sure if he has a toggle or momentary on/off

As said erlier it's all caused from the wrong hardware

This is like saying the following. Not directed to OP, pm me if I can help ya out!

I didn't have the right lug nuts for my truck wheel so I used something that looked like it would work, for a while at least.

As I drove down the road my when fell off.

When that happened it tore my fender up breaking my shock.

Man you should have bought a Goodyears why are you going to buy a new set of the same Coopers?
