The show was ok, I was happy to see crappie fishing on tv but, the trolling bores me to death... It's clear that Mr. Capps has the personality to carry this fishing show, but the format appeals mostly to diehard crappie fishermen who enjoy that style of crappie fishing. I would rather see him vertical fishing standing timber or fighting the wind vertical fishing a brushpile or beating the snakes off his boat in the back of a creek.... Knowing how crappie pros fish tournaments I doubt I will see much of what I like. Don't get me wrong I'm happy to get a crappie show on tv and I really hope the show makes it.... Maybe I just like to whine....

I have DirecTV and searched with the keyword Crappie and got these 3 just now. When I am not fishing, I am watching fishing.

Watched it and really liked it. Learned a few things as well. Bill Dance show this week was also Crappie, so I doubled up on Crappie shows this week!

Thought it was a good show. I picked up some good tips.
Ronnie has a lot of crappie knowledge. He can catch them out of a mud puddle. I'm grateful he is sharing that with us fellow fisherman.
I know he mainly spider rigs but don't let that fool you he can catch them with one rod just as easy.

I enjoyed it but I suspect I would have a tangled mess fishing like that.

I thought it was great! It was a good explanation on side scan. He's a great host as well. Wonder if they will be fishing across the country or just in Tennessee?

In fact I found several Crappie shows.
