Might be going fishing at the state park at Lake Whitney, has the golden algae showed up there yet?

Not for sure about the Golden algea, but watch out for snakes at the State Park. You can look on TPWD facaebook page and see that they pulled a nice rattler off the rocks at the State Park this week.

water has a golden tint to it, but there was no sign of a fish kill as of yesterday

its everywhere...its not so much that its killing tons of fish, which you never know because birds get them so fast anyways, but it kills quality fishing.

Fish arent where they are supposed to be, very unpredictable, etc...
