I'm guessing that's the Wednesday night tournament there?

Feel for the ShareLunker crew that's got to turn around and head back that way! smile

If that fish is indeed 13.0 or better on certified scales, that will make 11 total ShareLunkers so far this season.

And FIVE from Lake Austin alone.

If they can grow um there, how come none are caught further up the Colorado/other highland lakes? Did they stock more florida strain fish in Lake Austin? Is it the grass?

Just out of curiosity... What's the average size of bass caught from Lake Austin. My inlaws live close to there and we are planning a trip soon. (ESP since I've been seeing all these pics!lol) btw, this is not an attempt to start a debate between lakes.

No idea on this, but my brother was there couple weeks ago and he had 23.5lb stringer. I saw all the pictures and he just never had a big kicker fish. Literally every fish he was catching was 3-5lbs.

Lake Austin is the next Falcon!! Falcon doesn't produce big fish.

Not that big and I wouldn't waste your time. I'd head to fork if I were you! Boat traffic is horrible and gota be careful where you run especially if you go up north.

Lake Austin is on fire and has been for awhile! If you havent fished there before just want to warn you about the ski traffic, be ready for it because it will be there.
