I have a tournament coming up and we're launching out of Caney Creek at Sam Rayburn. Im looking for a cabin or house to rent for a couple of days near Caney Creek. Anybody has any recomendations?

Nothing really "close" to Caney. The closest would be near 147 east of Zavalla.
Buchanans Backlash lodge http://www.jeffbuchananrealty.com/rentals/main.htm
There are some others near 147 also. The only others would be at the south end near the dam.
Bass Busters
Rayburn Country Motel and Condo's

There is a place in Concord Heights that has cabins. Not sure how to contact them.

I'd stay at bass busters and make the drive.

Agreed, but you might check out Jeff Buchanan's website to see what he has available...

If I didn't live here, I would certainly stay at the places that actually support bass fishermen and help put up money to bring events here to this area. That would be Rayburn Country, Tiger Creek Lodge, and Twin Dikes. I would exclude the one local hotel that refuses to support fishermen, but eagerly takes their money. Just thought you guys might want to know.

Caney? Your lucky to have paved roads. I love the facility but its so far in the woods, they have to pump sunchine in there. Wish I could help but there just isnt much around there.
