CAG Event (Non CAG members are more than welcome to come out)
When 03/24/12
Where Brazos River GPS Coordinates 31.563291,-97.128958
Start Time 7:00 am
This will be an all day event with a chance to catch commons,mirrors and buffs.
There are bathrooms at the meeting location for those of you that care to know.
It will be an all day event so please come prepared.
Try to bring someone new to carping if possible.
Please feel free to get in touch with me if you need or want to before the event.
This will be a social fish in so don't worry about competition unless you would like to do a side pot.
If you can make it please make a post and let me know.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate with this time and location.

Is that the park that has a community center and a pavilion right there? If so then thats where we have our family reunion every year.

yup that's the place. also a kids play area. it will be interesting to see what comes out, 3 biggest fish have been a 19 common, 29 buff and a 27 buff.

I brought my kit last year to the reunion and managed to hook into a high teener that was lost at the net. Glad we are starting early, seems like I remember a BUNCH of folks bank fishing from that spot throughout the day.
