I know a lot of Fork guides and experienced Fork regulars get on TFF so maybe some of you can offer some insight as to how all the rain/runoff/rising water is going to effect the fishing for the days ahead. Should we still try to fish the same shallow water areas that were beginning to "heat" up with spawners, or are we going to have a diferrent approach ?

If the forecast is corect, give it a day or two to settle down, then go for it! it's supposed to be nice the next 5-6 days. If you like to catfish, go immediately, cause I know they are on fire.

Work the breakline (if it is apparent) bass will hang out in the most stained water to ambush what is in the clear ( unmuddied) water. I work from the most stained towards the "clear" and let them choose the ambush point. None of my info is specific to fork but to fishing after a rain or storm. insects and other critters wash into feeders and fish instinctively go where the food is.

I'm concerned about this too. I'm fishing tomorrow and Thursday. I have been watching "improving" reports for over a week and then this!
Weather does look clear and warming, so fine by the weekend, but that doesn't help me tomorrow.

Fish are not complex. They will adapt to their new invironment very quickly. Beds will be in the same depths as aways which is based on sunlight penetration which depends on water clarity. Once the water clears up look for spawning fish in the 2 to 6 ft depths. However the cool rain and temps will bring down the water temps and the muddy water won't help. It won't hurt as much being this far along in the season though. You can't catch'em if you don't go.

Rising water pulls them up, falling water pushes em back. Rule of thumb, or murfees law not sure which.

The fish should move up on the new grass. This won't bother them the day after as much as the last rain did with the big water temp drop. Alot more fish committed now up close and their going to love that flooded grass. Later by the weekend when it settles more and temps rise it may get stupid out there!
