I have 2 huge green lights that I usually use in May for fishing bridges every year at night, and wondering if anyone uses lights at night for spawn fishing and had any luck off the bank or any spawing action??? Thinking about trying it out, thought i would check with everyone???

I use Berkeley submersible lights and have caught all kinds of fish. Crappie, black bass, white bass, stripers, and catfish.

If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

My set up is a 12v-7.5amp backup alarm battery. These are used for Deer feeders, Alarms, Gates. You can find one at Northern Tool for 20-25 bucks or less. The higher the amps the longer your charge. For example I got a green 21 inch submersible light at Academy that pulls .60 amps an hour. On a full charge my battery can run my light for 12 and a half hours. Walmart sales the battery charger for 20 bucks. I do a lot of night fishing and this light brings in the fish.

Within minutes, I have glass minnows and shad, circling the boat. Cant beat fresher bait than that.

Fish swarming under the boat with the lights on.
