Not to discourage you but you might want to pass on the creek for a week or so. With all the rain, the runoff will be outrageous and the water will be high, muddy and flowing, carrying a lot of debris. Fishing for sandies will probably be poor. Having aaid that, I took the wife and 2 kids up there this past Sat for a few hours. Fishing was relatively slow for us and everyone I talked to up there. We ventured about 1 mile west of Hwy 377. We did find one stretch where wefound some but even then most were small 11 1/2"-12", only had 1 that was about 14". My son also caught a nice blue cat, about 5 lbs. We were only using jigs and sassy shad type baits. Saw some using minnows and witnessed a couple of small crappie and another catfish get caught but all in all sort of slow. Water temps were 70 degrees in the river.

Fished trophy club park twice this week. Catfishing has been very good. But the water is very muddy, and there are still very large logs floating.

Not sure now. There were several floaters that we a solid 15" across, and 12 to 15ft long. And were catching on shad.
