Alright with all the rain and flood warnings I've got a question. Is it against the law to fish and take your boat onto private properties that are accessable because of flood waters? If I'm on a lake and there is an owners yard flooded from water from the lake can i fish this flooded water or troll my boat through it? Also does the same rules apply for river streams as well?

Nope. Dad and I won a Honey Hole team tournament about 10 years ago on Toledo fishing flooded pine trees in manicured lawns. Lake was way high. Culled out our two smallest off the edge of the tee boxes and fairway at Cypress Bend.

Back in the mid 90's Rayburn got 10+ high and this came up as the azalea pattern was working well. According to GW responding to complaints by property owners as long as the fisherpeople stay in the boat no laws are being broken!
