I'm new to bass fishing and would like to know some good easy lure options to help me catch some bass. Don't want anything to complex until I get some more experinced but if anyone knows some that might help it would be appreciated. Thanks you all are awesome.

2"-5" grubs on the right sized jighead. Deadly this time of the year through out fall. Rapala Floating Minnows. Rebel Minnow. Mostly topwater/-3' subsurface baits. A lil twitch goes a long ways with these.
When I'm teaching folks how to bass fish with lures, these are the first lures I reach for.

A Buzzbait is a lot of fun and easy to use.

1/4 oz. Roadrunners in several colors and styles. Can't go wrong with white with a curly tail grub for clear water or chartruse and black for muddy or stained water. Just cast it out and reel it in slowly. You'll catch just about anything that swims with these baits.

You could get a 100 different opinions on this but with a beginner I believe you should keep it simple. I think a spinner bait is the safest bet that also produces fish.

Here are 3 very easy set-ups that will produce fish any time of the year.
1st is a spinnerbaits. Pick up a 1 in white and 1 white / chartreuse. 1/4 oz. or 3/8 oz. are good sizes to begin with. You can fish it around weed beds, stick-ups or open water and it can be fished at any depth. Just cast it out and reel it back it.
2nd is a crankbaits. Go with the cheaper ones to start, as you will more than likely hang-up and break off a lot in the beginning. I would start with one that runs 3 to 5 feet and one that runs 5 to 7 feet, and I would have one in a shad color and one in a chartreuse with black back. This will be fished the same as a spinnerbait. Just cast it out and reel it back.
3rd is a Texas Rigged worm or lizard. Easy rig to set-up and use and will always catch you fish even when other baits won't. This rig can be fished in any depth of water and at any time of the year. Cast it out, let it sink to the bottom and slide it along the bottom back to you. As you retrieve it, place your index finger on the line and you will be able to easily detect a bit.
Hope this helps you and most importantly is have fun fishing.

I started with a lightweight rig. Spinning gear with a splitshot rig. lightweight line 6 or 8 lb. baiththolder hook with a small splitshot. Put weight about 18 inches above the hook. I used nitecrawlers because I couldn't distinguish the bite with a rubber worm. Hook him down through the head and out the side. you can use a bobber to help distinguish the bite as soon as anything dips the bobber, jerk to set the hook. As you improve, you'll know when to set the hook. You'll graduate to small rubber worms quickly. All the stuff these guys mentioned above are good too. Now is a great time to start because the fish will be in shallow water from now till next winter. The more time you spend out there, the faster you'll learn. Talk to everyone you meet out there. Emulate the ones who you see are succesful.

Sure Strike has the answer, except that I would put the Texas rigged plastic worm at the top in priority followed by the other two. A purple or watermelon colored worm will nearly always produce.

Sure strike hit the nail on the head. I do think I would add a couple top water baits for the spring too. Fun to fish. Watch some videos for proper ways to fish them.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.
