All the reviews I've seen in the past say, "they are good yaks for the $$$.$$" Just found this. Looks to be the most honest reviews ive seen yet: http://www.paddling.net/Reviews/showReviews.html?prod=1325depending on the condition, Id probably go for it. Just would be careful not to over load it. At $200 it would be hard to pass up. Later, If you like the sport, but feel you want to upgrade, you could always sell it for a profit & get something else. What ever u do, be safe & good luck! with all the $ youll be saving, youll be able to invest in a NICE PFD, WHISTLE & LIGHT

That's a great fishing kayak at a very nice price. Make sure it doesn't leak, rig it, and get to fishing. Pretty stable rigs, too..... FM

I dunno about the kingfisher but I've had a couple of different mainstreams and the plastic is tuff as nails.
